Hash error whilst patching02-Nov-2010
We are currently aware of an issue some players are seeing whereby a hash code error is presented during patching. We are currently working to resolve this issue. Thanks for your patience!

That's a good question! Currently the populations of the servers look like this:

Lowest population - recommended!
[DE] Anduin
[EN] Withywindle
[FR] Sirannon
[EN] Gilrain
[FR-RP] Estel
[EN] Evernight
[DE] Maiar


Highest population - login queues likely!
[EN-RP] Laurelin
[EN] Eldar
[EN] Snowbourn
[DE] Vanyar
[DE] Morthond
[DE-RP] Belegaer


Login queues are likely on the highest population worlds so in order to avoid potential queuing, please choose one of the lower populated worlds.

What do the letters mean in front of the names? Another great question!

[EN] - English language-preferred server
[FR] - French language-preferred server
[DE] - German language-preferred server

Important Known Issues - Please read!02-Nov-2010We'd like to bring the following known issues to your attention. Please review them carefully.

Language Select
Once you have installed the Preview client, please DO NOT change the language of the client using the button on the launcher as it will then try to patch up new language files to your PC and your install will become unusable. If you do happen to do this, change the language back to the one you originally installed in and the game will update itself with the correct files.

Incorrect audio language
Please note that some of our NPCs have recently learned a foreign language and may occasionally switch to a different it when speaking to you. This affects several of the NPCs in Enedwaith.

Store items not translated
Some of the items available in the LOTRO Store are missing translations and will be displayed in English.

Localisation issues
There are a number of localisation issues in the French and German clients. We are aware of these and are working to fix them as soon as possible.

LOTRO Store display issues
Some items in the LOTRO Store aren't aligned correctly and may show slightly out of line with the associated text/images.
