Scheduled Maintenance: Thursday, February 14th

All Turbine Game Servers and http://myaccount.turbine.com will be offline for global maintenance from 6:00AM Eastern (-5 GMT) Thursday, February 14th until 6:00am Eastern Time (-5 GMT) Friday February 15th.

Important: The forums and wikis will remain up during the maintenance, but will be read-only. To receive the latest news and updates, please check our Facebook and Twitter feeds during the maintenance window. As a reminder, you do not need to join or sign in to those social networks to read the updates.

Customer Service will also be unavailable during the down time, and for a period thereafter.

I thought they were fixing the game but nooo..

@sulmog Back-end systems maintenance. Billing systems, CS tools, etc. Things that work in concert so have to be done concurrently.
@peldazac Not really as it's mainly support and billing systems being addressed. Unfortunately the game can't run while those are down.

@lotro The night shift is still hammering away! Unfortunately, we still have no ETA on uptime. :(

Turbine Maintenance Update 2/15/2013
Feb 15, 2013 21:49 EST We are working to resolve ongoing issues with our system maintenance. At this time we do not have a specific estimate for when the game servers will be available. Our goal is to make the games available as soon as possible. However we would like to advise players that the service may continue to be unavailable this evening. We will continue to provide updates as we have them.

As a thank you for your understanding and patience during this downtime, all Premium and VIP players who have logged into their account in the past 30 Days (as of 6:00AM Eastern time on 2/14/2013) will receive 250 Turbine points. In addition, all VIP players who have logged in during the same period will have their accounts credited 1 day of VIP time for each day of downtime, plus 1 additional day. All points and additional time will be granted automatically as soon as our regular service is restored and stable.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
